I'm always a little curious about the author of a website, so I thought I'd tell you something about myself.

As you may have guessed, I am a mother (and grandmother). I also retired from teaching (3rd grade) a few years ago. That is why children's education and reading are so important to me!

My knowledge of homeschooling comes from having children who are successfully home schooling their kids.
